23 2026-05-03 Oberreichenbach, Germany ACC1_2-Logger 12" Parachute Klima C6-P (7) 97.00 Sunny / Calm 10 ALTDuino 273.30 Since I could never clearly see the ejection at apogee, I decided to use a C6-7 engine with a 7-second smoke trail, hoping it would help me track the rocket better. I carefully removed the ejection charge and plugged the engine with epoxy, but it seems some residue remained. At apogee, a much louder bang went off, and the shock cord couldn’t handle the force, tearing apart and causing the lower portion of the rocket to be lost in the field. FW 1.0.4.
